You are greeted on arrival at Kottayam Railway station by our Tours representative and there after you will be moved to Thekkady by road in a 14 seated cab. After reaching there, you will check in to the Hotel and then can enjoy boating in Periyar in the evening. Periyar wild life reserve is home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Today morning after breakfast drive to Idukki Arch dam through the forest roads. The Idukki Dam is a double curvature arch dam constructed across the Periyar River in a narrow gorge between two granite hills Kuravan and Kurathi in Kerala, India. At 167.68 metres, it is one of the highest arch dams in Asia. You could enjoy scenic view of the Idukki dam from the view point. Boating will be available on special holidays organized by the government. check in to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
